I have been dying to blog about this wedding and it’s finally ready! On June 15th I had the honor of documenting the gorgeous wedding of Kristie & René in GERMANY!!!
We spent their wedding week in Frankfurt being treated like family, touring René’s hometown, dining on German food, meeting their family and closest friends, visiting castles, sharing stories, laughing and getting caught in the rain. I’ll have more on all of the rest of our trip posted shortly but for today I want to focus on one particular day.
So fix a cup of tea and sit back and enjoy the wedding of Kristie and René the way that I saw it…
The ceremony took place at the Basilika St. Aegidius in Mittelheim, Germany. Isn’t it amazing!?!The part of brother of the groom was played by Matt Damon 😉Then we were off to the old wine crane at Oestrich-Winkel where there was a cocktail hour of beer and pretzles by a huge wine barrel on the Rhine River.
Our final desination was the GORGEOUS Jagdschloss Platte. I could have photographed here for hours! Here where we enjoyed the most amazing 4 course meal and a reception that raged until 4am. They sure know how to throw a wedding in Germany.
It’s all fun and games until the surprise fire dancers show up solidifying this as the most insane wedding ever!I couldn’t resist throwing in a photo of Tony and I at the reception taken by another guest.
