I may not eat fast food, but that doesn’t mean I don’t LOVE french fries. So today I’ll give you my recipe for the best home made french fries. They are really easy to prepare and they are way better than any you could ever find at any fast food chain. Not to mention, way healthier for you.
*Yummy Garlic French Fries*
a few potatoes (how many depends on how much you want to make but I usually pick about 5 small-medium potatoes when there is only 2 of us. I use red skinned or golden depending on whatever I have on hand.
1 tlbsp. extra virgin olive oil
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 450
Wash and cut potatoes into strips
Put in a bowl and combine with olive oil, garlic powder and pepper
Spread evenly across a baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt (optional)
Bake for 35-45 minutes turning them over half-way through baking.
These are the perfect side dish to a home-made burger and would be great if you cut them into bite size pieces and made them baked hash browns with breakfast or brinner.
