Without fail.. if I get an email from a potential bride saying they are somehow in the same social circle as my cousin Phoebe or Emily I jump on it because I know that it’s going to be an amazing couple. I just know immediately that they will be genuine, real, fun and drop dead gorgeous! Always!! It never fails! So when I heard from Michelle and John a few months back I was so excited to work with them before I even met them. Needless to say they fit that description exactly and it was a match in photography heaven. 🙂 Fast forward a few months and here we are at their engagement session. Michelle and John live in Baltimore so we shot their session in and around the Fell’s Point area. I fall more and more in love with that area everytime I go and I love the new spots that I was introduced to on this little trip.
We started off at Charleston in Harbor East which is where John proposed to Michelle. I love the bartender … he looks so happy 🙂 but probably because I was making kissy faces at him through the glass. I was trying to get him to relay the message on to the couple but in hindsight I see that I was giving him mixed signals. ha! Then we headed off closer to Fell’s to get some photos by the harborMy favorite image from the day…. You are a classic beauty, MichelleThey are such a fun and happy couple and I barely had to direct them at all. If I placed them in a spot they would immediately start snuggling together perfectly and in between all the photos they would chat constantly with each other about wedding plans, friends and anything and everything else about their day. It was really refreshing to be around people that are clearly so comfortable with themselves and with each other and I hope that shows through in these photos. I love the way that people in love look at each other’s mouths when they are talking. This is my one of my new favorite couple shots. Doesn’t that just look so comfortable?
Michelle & John.. it was wonderful spending the evening with you .. I can’t wait until your wedding in May!
