‘Amy, what you wanna do?..I think I could stay with you..For a while, maybe longer if I do.’

Meet Amy & Parker Crowl.   I had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time because I knew there would be so many familiar faces at it.   I had shot both Parker’s sister Betsy and cousin Susan’s weddings over the past couple years so it really felt like I was getting back together with old friends.   They were married at an adorable church with so much character.  The Highland Presbyterian Church in Street, MD.   I loved all the stained glass.  As I’m sure you will be able to tell.

So enjoy this little glimpse into Amy and Parker’s big day and, as always, feel free to leave a comment to let me know what you think.

We headed over to Parker’s family farm (Garden Fence Farm) for majority of the photos.

This is the farmhouse that Amy and Parker are now living in, so we had to get a few shots on the porch.

‘C’ for Crowl on their front door

Then off to the Liriodenron for the reception

Amy and her dad danced to “Amie” by Pure Prairie League and everyone sang along.  It was a great moment.

  • Adam - Utterly brilliant and bloody lovely! Do you mainly just shoot with ambient light Stevie or is there some flash use in here?

  • StevieT - Thanks so much Adam!! It’s all ambient light with the exeption of the first dances at the end. The 1st of the dance shots I just picked up the videographer’s light and the next few are lit with on camera speed lights. Thanks for the comment!!

  • Robin McLaughlin - Hi Stevie,
I’m Amy’s Aunt and I just had to tell you your pictures are fantastic. You are a true artist! I keep trying to pick a favorite but it is IMPOSSIBLE! Love the rings on the door! What a beautiful touch. I think every bride should have you do their pictures! What a lifetime of beautiful memories captured magnificently!

  • Michelle - Stevie, I work for the milk cooperative that the Crowls sell their milk to. The proud father, David, has been asking me to view this site for a while now and today I have to tell you – every photo of this wedding is absolutely breathtaking. You are extremely talented. Parker and Amy are absolutely gorgeous and your photos of their most blessed day truly express their love of friends, family and especially their love for one another!
